Nancy Tikunoff, IMH
Nancy’s entry into the helping professions was originally as a Registered Nurse. She became interested in integrating physical, psychological and spiritual health interventions as she observed this to be a lacking element in the health profession. She has 35+ years of professional healthcare experience working with patients/clients of all ages and stages of life.
Nancy has a holistic understanding of the nature of humanity. She finds fulfillment and satisfaction in helping people to achieve an optimum state of health in all aspects of their personhood (spirit, soul & body). This assistance may be offered in the form of counseling if you are having a problem that is impacting your life in a detrimental fashion or life coaching to help you get that dream in motion or go forward with your life. She believes that clients deserve the winning combination of both competence and caring in a professional and that is what she offers to those who are either struggling to overcome an obstacle or achieve a goal in their lives.
Nancy is a Registered Mental Health Intern, a Certified Professional Life Coach and she is trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) Therapy. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the International Christian Coaching Association and The Central Florida Mental Health Counselors Association.
She has been married to her husband Mike for 24 years, has two adult sons and three spoiled cats. Her favorite pastimes are doing water aerobics, working jigsaw puzzles and reading voraciously.
